Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00, plus incentives
Actual compensation within this range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
As a Senior Assistant Branch Manager, you will help lead branch operations, inspire performance, and support the financial success of our members and communities. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Branch Manager to drive sales and service excellence, foster employee development, and ensure operational integrity. You'll lead a team of Tellers and Universal Service Representatives while helping shape a welcoming, high-performing branch culture.

What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop Talent

Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Tellers and Universal Service Representatives.
Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance discussions.
Identify training opportunities and create development plans that support employee growth and success.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.

Deliver Exceptional Member Experiences

Champion Mission Fed's service culture and exceed member expectations.
Resolve complex member concerns with professionalism and care.
Build strong member relationships through consultative conversations and personalized financial solutions.
Create a welcoming branch environment that encourages engagement and growth.

Drive Sales & Branch Performance

Lead sales activities and support branch goals through coaching and accountability.
Partner with the Branch Manager to implement business development and marketing initiatives.
Promote financial products and services that improve members' financial well-being.
Support sales campaigns and track team performance using reporting tools and technology.

Ensure Operational Excellence

Oversee branch operations, compliance, and risk management practices.
Monitor cash levels, audits, certifications, and security procedures.
Support account opening, consumer lending, loan processing, and member transactions as needed.
Act as Branch Manager in their absence and help ensure seamless branch operations.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial services, including:

Consumer lending and real estate lending
New accounts and member service
Branch operations and cash management
Sales and relationship building

At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Proven success coaching employees to achieve sales, service, and operational goals

Education

Associate degree or equivalent experience required
Relevant professional experience may be substituted for education

Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of consumer credit reports, lending processes, underwriting, debt-to-income ratios, and loan-to-value calculations
Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong sales and member service orientation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Symitar experience preferred
Ability to obtain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration within one year of hire
