Sanding Technician
Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanding Technician to join our high-performing Sanding Department. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, possess a keen eye for detail, and are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll utilize specialized finishing tools and work with high-end finishes as part of a dedicated team focused on producing cabinetry that exceeds Bellmont’s quality standards.

What You’ll Do
- Sand cabinet components and custom pieces to ensure proper surface quality for finishing.
- Prepare and modify select components, including molding, floating shelves, oven hoods, and other custom pieces as needed.
- Identify surface imperfections or sanding issues and determine appropriate corrections.
- Safely operate saws and cutting tools to support sanding department operations and build tasks.
- Move and stage components carefully to support smooth transfer to the next stage of production.
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support production flow and maintain high finish quality.
- Maintain your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and finish integrity.
- Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
