Sanitarian 1 - Test

The Sanitarian 1 - Test position at Hudson Talent Solutions is responsible for conducting environmental health inspections, investigating public health complaints, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine inspections of food service establishments, public swimming pools, and other regulated facilities to assess compliance with health and safety standards
  • Investigating public health complaints and concerns, such as those related to food-borne illnesses, vector control, and environmental hazards
  • Collecting samples and conducting field tests as needed to support investigations and inspections
  • Documenting findings, issuing citations or orders, and following up to ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Collaborating with other public health professionals and agencies to address complex issues
  • Maintaining detailed records and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Providing education and outreach to the community on public health topics

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in environmental health, public health, or a related field, as well as relevant work experience. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
