Sanitation Helper
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks
- Responsible for project work assigned by Sanitation Supervisor/Lead
- Take all necessary Food Safety precautions and procedures to avoid contamination of product during wash downs and when cleaning near exposed products, ingredients and food contact surfaces
- Required to keep proper tools readily available to ensure frequent and adequate cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
- Responsible for maintaining clean tools. Keep tools clean and stored in designated storage locations between use
- Food handling equipment and utensils should be adequately cleaned and sanitized before each use and stored in designated storage locations between use
- Waste should be removed from facility as needed
- An 18 inch gap should be maintained between walls and product in all warehouses and storage areas at all times
- Responsible for all cleaning and sanitation tasks inside and outside building
- Follow all company’s GMP procedures
- Follow all company Color Code procedures
- Know where emergency STOP and START/STOP buttons are located
- Responsible for following all Lock Out / Tag Out procedures for machines when necessary
- Performs all special requests by the Sanitation Supervisor/Lead
