Sanitation Technician
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all processing equipment, production areas, and the overall facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting food safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient daily operations by following established sanitation procedures and quality standards.
Pay: $24- $26 an hour
Your starting pay will be determined by:
- Previous equipment operating experience
- Demonstrated proficiency operating equipment safely and efficiently
- The number and types of equipment you are qualified to operate
Key Responsibilities

Maintain full compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, GMPs, and all company policies and procedures.

Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.

Understand and follow sanitation requirements, including proper chemical usage, concentration levels, time and temperature controls, cleaning procedures, and flow rates.

Monitor and verify CIP (Clean-In-Place) cycles to ensure all cleaning steps meet specifications and are accurately documented.

Communicate promptly with Management regarding equipment concerns, food safety risks, quality issues, or any sanitation processes that do not meet established standards.

Support inventory management by monitoring and replenishing sanitation chemicals, cleaning supplies, and parts as needed.

Inspect completed sanitation work and follow up to ensure all equipment and areas meet sanitation and operational readiness requirements before production begins.

Consistently meet performance expectations and contribute to the overall success of the sanitation and production teams.
