Sanitation Technician Third Shift

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, this position performs sanitation at the Villa Rica location. The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness, including break areas, restrooms, hallways, and meeting areas. This position also assists in cleaning production areas and, occasionally, outdoor areas

Third Shift Available: Sunday- Thursday 9:30PM-6:00Am

Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:

• Emptying/Removal of trash; replacing can liners
• Dusting of all vertical and horizontal surfaces
• Cleaning glass and windows
• Spot clean walls
• Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms
• Sanitizing all Bathroom fixtures, tables, countertops, and dusting/wiping down communal surfaces
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and/or mopping all floors
• Ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
• Stock supplies in necessary areas and assist with monitoring supply inventories
• Work directly with the supervisor and procurement manager to reorder or replace items
• Supply room organization: Conference and breakroom upkeep, ensuring the refreshments remain stocked.
• Adhere to company safety policy and create a safe work environment
• Other tasks, duties, and special projects to support general everyday company operations will be assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Minor tasks and responsibilities are included as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience

Qualifications:

• Must be able to prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to deadline.
• Must have basic mathematical capabilities.
• Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, and write).
• Team Player, ability to work well with others.
• Must work well as part of a team
• Must take direction well
• Must have excellent and punctual attendance

Working Conditions

• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
• A work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Will occasionally have to use a step ladder for cleaning and organizing.

Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
