Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP OData Consultant with 6–8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, OData services, and SAP integration. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications using ABAP and OData technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Develop and implement OData services using SAP Gateway.
• Work on OData service creation, configuration, registration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience in ABAP Objects (OOPs), ALV Reports, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop and consume REST-based services for SAP integrations.
• Work on CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP programming concepts.
• Support SAP Fiori applications through OData service development and backend integration.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Handle technical documentation, unit testing, and production support.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 6–8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience in SAP OData services (V2/V4).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Gateway and SEGW.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience in BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Knowledge of CDS Views and AMDP.
• Experience in SAP Fiori backend integration.
• Good debugging and performance optimization skills.

Good to Have

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Exposure to SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and integration technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML.
• SAP Fiori/UI5 integration knowledge.
