SAP ABAP Developer with a passion for growth and business transformation. Join

Duties and
Responsibilities:
The SAP ABAP
Developer will work with our Power and Utility client to understand their
business requirements, and help design a solution, using their business process
knowledge. They will assist clients in the sustainment, implementation,
configuration, and support of SAP Functionality. The goal is to effectively
integrate new packaged technology into the client’s business environment in
order to achieve client expected business results. This position is expected to
provide expert level business process guidance on SAP and facilitate SAP ABAP
development and performance analysis for client. Other duties and responsibilities
include but may not be limited to:
- ABAP development of requested
business solutions based on the technical designs
- Perform complex ABAP
programming, testing and debugging functions related to the implementation of
SAP modules
- Conduct defect analysis and
perform necessary fixes and enhancements
- Collaborate with functional
owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems
to meet the emerging demands of the market
- Assist in unit testing of ABAP
programs
- Review program codes and correct
ABAP program errors
- Maintain and update existing
program codes as needed
- Troubleshoot production problems
in a timely manner
- Provide and own SAP application
development support in assigned areas
- Analyze, design, code and test
break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules
- Develop technical system
specifications for SAP components
- Design SAP components to
technical programming standards
- Close communication with
functional teams /designers, understand the requirements from provided
functional designs and transform these requirements into the technical designs
- Build professional relationships
with clients, management and team members to ensure delivery of proposed
solutions, support for development of business possibilities and for personal
development
- Contribute to high productivity
and motivation of working team with the use of your communication skills and
cooperation; reach and realize project aims and outputs
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with power and
utilities required
- Minimum 3-5 years of full
lifecycle SAP implementations and AMS
- 5 years of SAP ABAP experience
- 2 years of hands-on experience
in developing Integration scenarios using ESOA between SAP and Non-SAP Systems,
associated configuration and code changes
- 3+ years ABAP Development and
Performance Analysis Experience including testing, debugging and resolving
issues to the implemented enhancements / conversions / reports related to SAP
modules.
- SAP Development Implementation
experience on SAP modules such as IS-U Finance, billing, meter, device
management, Controlling, Plant Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Interface and IDoc
processes
- Object Oriented programming
- Report writing using ALV and
ABAP lists
- SAPscripts and smart forms
- Dialogue programming
- BADIs/BAPIs
- User exits/enhancements
- BDCs
- WebDynpro
- LSMW
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Required
Required Certifications:
- No required certifications.
- SAP, SAFe, CSM certifications
desired.
Other:
- Must be US Citizen
- Willingness to be on-site daily
- This is a consultant W2 position to be considered
for hire by client after 6 months
