Sap Abap Developer

• Design, build, test and deploy RICEFW objects: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows.
• Build extensions the clean-core way: released APIs, BAdIs and the enhancement framework, key-user and developer extensibility, with no core modifications.
• Develop in modern ABAP: ABAP 7.5x syntax, ABAP Cloud, Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Build and enhance OData services (SEGW and RAP-based) for SAP Fiori / UI5 apps.
• Develop Adobe Forms and Smart Forms for batch records, Certificates of Analysis, labels, invoices and delivery documents.

Manufacturing and quality processes

• Deliver custom solutions across PP / PP-PI (process orders, master recipes, batch management), QM (inspection lots, results recording, CoA), MM, SD, WM / EWM and FI / CO.
• Build for batch traceability, shelf-life and expiry control, GMP documentation and regulatory reporting.
• Follow GxP and computer system validation (CSV) practice: documented specifications, test evidence and change control.

Integration and data

• Build and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData / REST APIs and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Support data migration and mass-change objects using the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and related tools.

Private Cloud (RISE) operations

• Work within the RISE with SAP operating model: transport management, release and upgrade cycles, and coordination with SAP for system operations.
• Run ATC and custom code checks; remediate custom code during S/4HANA upgrades and Feature Pack Stacks.
• Tune performance using SQL trace and runtime analysis, and push logic down to HANA where it helps.

Support and documentation

• Resolve L2 / L3 incidents and change requests within agreed SLAs.
• Write technical specifications, unit test documents and handover notes; take part in code reviews.
• Guide junior developers and share ABAP best practices.
