SAP ABAP Developer
- Initial 6-month contract with the potential view to extend
- Convenient Melbourne CBD location with hybrid work arrangement (3 days' in the office)
- ABAP Integration Interfaces (IDOC and Odata) experience is essential
Our client, a leading organisation within the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. This role will suit a hands-on developer with strong SAP technical expertise who enjoys working across integrations, enhancements and custom development in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain SAP ABAP programs across multiple SAP modules.
- Design and develop integration interfaces using IDOCs and OData Services.
- Deliver custom developments, reports, forms, conversions and interface solutions.
- Perform general ABAP enhancements, including user exits, BAdIs and enhancement framework developments.
- Develop and maintain objects within the ABAP Workbench.
Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP Integration Interfaces, including IDOCs and OData.
- Experience delivering general ABAP enhancements, including user exits, BAdIs and enhancement framework.
- Solid experience using the ABAP Workbench.
- Strong understanding of SAP development standards and best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
