Sap Abap Development Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP HANA, and RICEFW objects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP CRM Technical and preferably SAP BRIM, including Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, and related integration components.

The candidate should be capable of designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting complex SAP solutions across distributed architectures, with experience in SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom solutions.
• Handle end-to-end RICEFW development, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs using Object-Oriented ABAP concepts.
• Work on SAP HANA development, including CDS Views, AMDP, ADBC, Native HANA Views, and procedures.
• Develop and support SAP CRM Technical components, including CRM enhancements, Events, BAdIs, Middleware, BOL, and GENIL programming.
• Work on SAP BRIM components such as SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, and CPQ, wherever applicable.
• Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs, and web services.
• Work on Fiori and SAP Gateway development, including service implementation and troubleshooting.
• Handle FQEVENTS, Provider Order Management, Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI), and IDOC extensions.
• Participate in SAP HANA migration and S/4HANA conversion activities, including analysis of the Simplification List.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver solutions in distributed SAP environments.

Required Technical Skills

1. SAP ABAP Development

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Design and Development.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Extensive RICEFW development experience.
• Experience with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Reports, Module Pool Programming, BAPI, BAdI, User Exits, Enhancements, ALE, IDOCs, RFCs, Events, and SAP Workflows.
• Knowledge of Output Determination and Pricing Procedure Routines.

2. SAP HANA Development

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP HANA design and development.
• Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, ADBC, HANA Native Views, Attribute Views, Analytical Views, and HANA Procedures.
• Knowledge of HANA Modelling, HANA XS, and Search.
• Understanding of consuming HANA Views through different tools and applications.

3. SAP BRIM / SAP CRM Technical

• Experience in SAP BRIM is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of BRF+, CRM, Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, and CPQ.
• Strong understanding of SAP CRM Technical architecture.
• Experience with CRM enhancements, CRM Events, BAdI Framework, Middleware, BOL, and GENIL programming.
• Integration knowledge across SOM, Convergent Charging, and Convergent Invoicing (CI).

4. SAP Integration & Fiori

• Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, RFC, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway.
• Knowledge of FQEVENTS, Provider Order Management, Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI), IDOC extensions, and ODI troubleshooting.

5. SAP S/4HANA

• Experience in SAP HANA Migration.
• Knowledge of the S/4HANA Simplification List.
• Experience working in distributed architecture environments.

Preferred Skills

• Techno-functional experience in SAP BRIM.
• Experience across SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, and CPQ.
• Strong understanding of SAP CRM and BRIM integration scenarios.
• Experience in complex SAP implementation, enhancement, and migration projects.
