Experience:
5 to 7 Years
• Location:
• [Bangalore]
• Analyze, harmonize, and consolidate a large landscape of interfaces across multiple ECC systems into a single, unified target system.
• Perform detailed interface inventory, mapping, and impact analysis between source and target systems.
• Develop, enhance, and remediate inbound and outbound interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, Web Services, File-based, etc.).
• Rationalize duplicate or redundant interfaces and re-point integrations to the consolidated system.
• Rebuild and re-test partner profiles, ports, distribution models (ALE/EDI), and IDoc configurations post-consolidation.
• Coordinate with middleware teams (PI/PO, CPI, or third-party integration tools) to align interface endpoints and mappings.
• Support cutover activities involving interface re-connection, re-validation, and error handling.
• Develop and enhance custom interface monitoring, reprocessing, and error-handling frameworks.
• Prepare interfaces for S/4HANA readiness, including simplification impacts and re-design considerations.
• Support unit, integration, and end-to-end interface testing with connected systems and partners.
• Document interface technical specifications, mappings, and consolidation changes.

Required Skills & Experience
• Hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, with strong focus on interfaces and integration.
• Deep expertise in IDocs (standard & custom, extension, partner profiles, ports, WE20/WE21, reprocessing).
• Strong experience with ALE/EDI, RFC/BAPI, ABAP Proxies, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Experience integrating SAP with middleware (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or third-party tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with file-based interfaces (flat files, XML, CSV) and related handling.
• Proven experience in system consolidation / merger / carve-out projects, especially interface migration and re-pointing (highly preferred).
• Strong ABAP core skills: Reports, ALV, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, and debugging.
• Experience with interface error monitoring & reprocessing tools (BD87, SM58, SXMB_MONI, etc.).
• Understanding of custom code analysis tools (Code Inspector, ATC).
