SAP AFS Support Consultant

Salary: £42,000 - 72,500 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on SAP AFS functional experience
• Proven L2/L3 application-support experience
• Broad understanding of SAP AFS and its integration with SD, MM, PP and WM
• Ability to navigate existing systems and investigate cross-functional issues
• ABAP knowledge is beneficial, but hands-on development is not required
• Strong English-language and customer-facing communication skills
• Availability to work broadly within UK/European business hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional SAP AFS support and take ownership of customer tickets
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and manage issues through to resolution
• Support processes and integrations across SAP SD, MM, PP and WM
• Maintain tickets within agreed SLAs and provide weekly status reports
• Liaise directly with customers and provide clear progress updates
• Coordinate with ABAP developers where technical fixes or enhancements are required

We are offering an urgent, fully remote SAP AFS Support Consultant contract engagement on an outside IR35 basis. The initial requirement can accommodate around 10–15 hours per week alongside another role, although a full-time contract may also be considered for the right consultant. This role involves taking ownership of customer support accounts, acting as the primary point of contact, and resolving incidents across established SAP AFS environments. The contract is fully remote, with flexible location and UK hours, and we offer a competitive rate based on experience and location. There is a two-stage interview process, with interviews available immediately.
