3-month onsite contract in Dhahran designing the executive/management reporting layer for an Oil & Gas downstream portfolio: KPI hierarchies, scorecards, and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud. Core stack: SAC plus SAP data layers (S/4HANA embedded analytics, Datasphere, BW/4HANA); needs 10+ years BI/finance reporting and 4+ years SAC.
Summary
Design the management reporting, KPI, and executive dashboard layer within the organization to enable consistent, decision-ready reporting across the Downstream portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Core duties include the design and implementation of strategic reporting solutions:
Review current executive, management, and operational reporting packs, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Design the strategic KPI hierarchy, performance scorecards, and executive dashboard concepts.
Define management and profitability reporting views (e.g., margin waterfall, product, customer, segment, asset).
Set out the target reporting architecture and how it links to the data model, dimensions, and the data layer.
Specify reporting requirements and mock-ups for later build phases.
Key Requirements
Proven SAP Analytics Cloud design for CFO/executive reporting.
Strong financial KPI design and storytelling for executive audiences.
Experience with SAP data layers (e.g., S/4HANA embedded analytics, Datasphere, or BW/4HANA).
Hands-on experience in downstream Oil & Gas within a multi-entity/multi-affiliate environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
Exposure to IFRS 18 management-defined performance measures (MPMs).
Downstream KPI benchmarking (e.g., refining margins, cost per barrel, retail throughput).
