SAP Ariba & MM Analyst

Role & responsibilities
- Independently analyze and resolve L3 incidents and problem tickets in Ariba and SAP MM within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Configure and support Ariba modules in projects and rollouts: Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Supply Chain Collaboration and Ariba Network.
- Configure SAP MM: procurement cycle, purchase requisitions and orders, release strategies, source determination, inventory management, valuation and account determination, and STO.
- Firm understanding of Fixed Asset procurement and its integration with SAP PM.
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, and write detailed functional specifications for custom developments (enhancements, reports, forms, workflows).
- Work with ABAP and technical teams on development and review of technical specifications.
- Manage and monitor interfaces between SAP and Ariba (Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, middleware).
- Support testing (unit, SIT, UAT), cutover and hypercare.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, test cases and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with business users, vendors and cross-functional teams (FI, SD, WM).
Preferred candidate profile
- 5-8 years of SAP Ariba experience, including 3+ years in MM.
- Strong command of MM configuration and procurement business processes.
- Proven experience handling L3 tickets independently.
- Hands-on IDoc skills (WE02, WE05, WE19, WE20, BD87, message types, partner profiles, ALE/EDI).
- Experience with SAP-Ariba integration and interface troubleshooting.
- Experience writing functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
- Good understanding of S/4HANA procurement.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
