Description
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW on HANA solutions including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Transformations, DTPs, and BEx Queries.
- Build, optimize, and maintain HANA Calculation Views and related HANA modeling artifacts.
- Develop and support scalable SAP BW solutions using LSA and LSA++ architecture principles.
- Extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP source systems into SAP BW environments.
- Design and implement custom data sources, extractor enhancements, and transformation logic to meet business requirements.
- Develop and enhance ABAP routines including Start Routines, End Routines, Field Routines, and lookup logic within BW transformations.
- Create and maintain ABAP programs for datasource enhancements, customer exit variables, BADIs, and custom reporting requirements.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP code and BW processes.
- Develop and maintain BEx Queries, Workbooks, Calculated Key Figures, and Restricted Key Figures for reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, data architects, analytics teams, and data platform teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Participate in projects involving SAP data integration with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Support migration and replication of SAP BW data into modern cloud analytics environments.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and adherence to enterprise data standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation workshops, solution design reviews, and sprint planning activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in SAP BW architecture, performance, and reporting capabilities.
