SAP CO/Product Costing Specialist

Summary: The SAP CO/Product Costing Specialist is tasked with enhancing finance processes through effective use of SAP technology, focusing on maintaining and optimizing the SAP CO modules with particular attention to Product Costing and Actual Costing/Material Ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve SAP Product Costing functionalities to ensure business continuity and system integrity.
• Act as the primary contact for resolving complex SAP Product Costing issues; ensure smooth operation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT finance experts to analyze business and functional requirements, translating these into system requirements.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in the SAP CO area.
• Provide expertise for the ongoing S/4HANA transformation project, ensuring integration with daily finance operations.
• Participate as a project member or Project Manager in SAP CO/Product Costing projects including upgrades and enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity and system security in compliance with IT policies, focusing on cybersecurity and thorough documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT finance roles.
• 5 years of proven experience with SAP Actual Costing/Material Ledger in manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO sub-modules.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4.
