SAP Consultant (FICO & ABAP)

About the Role

We are looking for an in-house SAP Consultant with hands-on FICO configuration and ABAP development experience to maintain and enhance our SAP environment, working closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FICO, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, user exits, and BAdIs.

• Resolve financial posting, reconciliation, reporting, and system issues; support month-end and year-end closing.

• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and maintain integration with MM, SD, and external applications.

• Ensure system performance, security, technical documentation, and compliance with change management procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of SAP experience, including 3 years in FICO configuration/support and 2 years in hands-on ABAP development.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA.

• Experience with FI/CO configuration, MM/SD integration, and interfaces such as BAPI, RFC, IDoc, or web services.

• Good understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.

• Able to independently handle routine FICO and ABAP requests, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP consulting or internal enterprise SAP teams.

• Exposure to bank integration, bank reconciliation, and third-party systems.

• Knowledge of S/4HANA migration and multi-branch or multi-company operations.

• SAP FICO/ABAP certification or experience in travel, hospitality, retail, or service industries is an advantage.
