SAP Consultant (m/f/d) DMS, Archiving S/4HANA - NEARSHORE

Role/Backroud:

• Support of the current SAP Upgrade S/4HANA

• Customer IT is currently running a release upgrade project for the SAP S/4 system. This request replaces an internal project manager who left Customer.

• Customer is seeking an external SAP Project Manager to manage and support the SAP S/4 release upgrade project.

• Very good communication skills; the project is run in English and German-speaking skills are a very big advantage.

Tasks:

• Customer is seeking an experienced external consulting firm or senior consultant to provide strategic and technical guidance on our SAP S/4HANA Document Management System (DMS) and archiving infrastructure.

• Customerorganization has implemented the DMS setup following S/4HANA migration, and customer require expert assessment and support to ensure optimal configuration, best practices alignment, and readiness for future upgrades.

• Support needs:

· Conduct a thorough technical and system assessment of the current DMS and archiving setup.
· Identify configuration gaps and deviations from best practices and provide clear recommendations.
· Create comprehensive documentation of the current state and future roadmap.
· Deliver findings and recommendations through an executive summary and detailed reports.
· Conduct knowledge-transfer workshops for internal team members.
· Provide strategic guidance on archiving technology decisions and upgrades.
· Support the implementation of recommended improvements in Phase 2, if engaged.
· Maintain confidentiality and comply with data-protection regulations.

Must Have:

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP DMS and archiving.

Nice to have:

· Experience with OpenText upgrades.

Language English is mandatory
