SAP Consultant - PP & MM

Job Description:

The SAP S/4HANA MM & PP Functional Consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing, and supporting SAP MM solutions, and providing functional support for SAP PP processes within the SAP S/4HANA landscape. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to standardize procurement, inventory management, and production planning processes, ensuring effective system utilization, process optimization, and seamless cross-functional integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA MM solutions, including procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material management, goods receipt/goods issue, source determination, and invoice verification processes.

- Provide functional support and configuration for SAP MM and SAP PP modules, covering production planning, MRP, BOM, routings, and MM-PP integration, while supporting adoption of SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA business processes.

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, business process documentation, test scripts, and user manuals, and lead Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing activities.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and implementation partners to manage cross-functional integrations, interfaces, enhancements, and solution delivery.

- Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, production support, and post-go-live assistance, including troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions and system enhancements.

- Support SAP implementation, migration, rollout, upgrade, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain functions to ensure business process effectiveness and system reliability.

- Drive process standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives, while maintaining system documentation, process repositories, configuration records, and audit-ready support documentation.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA MM configuration and support.

- Mandatory working experience in SAP PP and strong understanding of MM-PP integration processes.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.

- Good understanding of SAP Fiori applications and user adoption practices.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Good communication, presentation, training, and documentation skills.

- Proactive approach towards process improvement, automation, and continuous learning.

- Knowledge of SAP Ariba, PM, PS, or QM modules will be an added advantage.
