SAP Data Architect
Summary
The SAP Data Architect will design and deliver scalable data analytics frameworks and SAP Business Intelligence solutions, acting as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. The role involves managing SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud environments while leading development teams.
We are seeking a SAP Data Architect to join our team. You should be capable of architecting and delivering resilient data analytics frameworks. You will serve as the link between business needs and technical delivery, spearheading the rollout of comprehensive SAP Business Intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data models and analytics frameworks to address enterprise-wide reporting and analytics requirements
- Steer development teams through the technical implementation stages, ensuring solutions are delivered precisely and within timelines
- Manage integration across SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to maintain smooth data flow between platforms
- Convert intricate business needs into well-defined technical blueprints to inform development and implementation work
- Assess, enhance, and fine-tune data pipelines and query performance to maintain efficient and dependable data processing
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional background
- At least 2 years of experience in Lead, Manager, Owner, Architect, or Coordinator positions
- A minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team of 5 or more employees
- Involvement in at least 2 full-cycle projects, or participation across multiple projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
- Experience with SAP BI/BW/BO or SAP Analytics Cloud implementation and support
- Familiarity with Life Sciences industry regulations and data compliance standards, such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for data analysis and issue resolution
- Capability to deliver user training and support change management efforts
- Experience developing technical documentation and user guides
- Strong English communication skills (C1 or higher), with the ability to clearly and effectively convey technical concepts to varied audiences
Nice to have
- Holding an SAP certification would be considered advantageous, reflecting validated proficiency in relevant SAP modules or platforms
