The Job

As an SAP Data Engineer Consultant, you'll work on a wide range of customer projects, helping organizations design and modernize their data and analytics landscapes. From cutting-edge SAP technologies to hybrid and cloud-based platforms, you'll guide customers towards scalable and future-proof data solutions.

You will:

• Design and implement modern SAP Data & Analytics solutions using technologies such as SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere), SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA Cloud and BW/4HANA.
• Build and optimize data models, pipelines and architectures that support business intelligence, reporting and advanced analytics.
• Advise customers on data strategy and architecture, combining SAP expertise with modern data engineering best practices.
• Work with both modern and legacy SAP environments, helping customers successfully modernize their existing landscapes.
• Contribute to projects involving technologies beyond SAP, including platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with customers and colleagues to deliver high-quality, end-to-end data solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in data engineering, analytics and artificial intelligence.

Your Profile

Must-haves

• Experience with SAP Data & Analytics technologies such as SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA (Cloud), BW/4HANA or ABAP CDS modelling.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, data engineering and data pipeline concepts.
• Solid functional knowledge of SAP processes and underlying data structures.
• Ability to work independently and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with classic SAP BI technologies such as SAP BW, BusinessObjects, Analysis for Office (AfO) or SLT.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Affinity with Artificial Intelligence within Data & Analytics.
• Experience with cloud-based data architectures.
• Curious and eager to continuously learn in the rapidly evolving data landscape.
• Analytical and solution-oriented with a pragmatic mindset.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, innovative and comfortable taking ownership.
