Summary:

The position of SAP EHS Expert aims to enhance health, safety, and environmental practices within the chemical industry, focusing on the implementation and improvement of SAP EHS applications to ensure compliance and business continuity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

  • Support in solving incidents and bugs.

  • Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity.

  • Write functional specifications for developers.

  • Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.

  • Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.

  • Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management.

  • Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC, Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the Chemicals industry.

  • Primarily work schedule will be CET.

  • Be available on-call on a rotating schedule to handle major issues outside of working hours Mon to Fri.

Key Requirements:

  • Deep hands-on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, PCN, 3E.

  • Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configuration.

  • Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.

  • General SAP EHS customization experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e.g., Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).

  • Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.

  • Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE.
