SAP EWM Architect

Job Requirements:

• Strong hands-on knowledge in SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized).
• Practical experience with:
• Outbound/inbound deliveries
• Picking, packing, staging, loading
• Storage Control (Process-oriented & Layout-oriented)
• Batch & serial number handling
• RF Device configuration
• Deep understanding of warehouse physical processes.
• Good integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation-

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP EWM (Decentralized or

Embedded).

• Configure key EWM components:
• Inbound & Outbound processes
• Warehouse Structure & Master Data
• Storage control (POSC/EOSC)
• RF Framework
• Physical Inventory
• Slotting & Rearrangement
• Yard Management
• Labor Management (if applicable)
• Define warehouse layouts, process flows, and pickpackship models.
• Configure Work Centers, Warehouse Order Creation Rules WOCR), and Warehouse Tasks.

Integration-

• Integrate EWM with:
• SAP S/4HANA (MM, SD, PP, QM)
• TM (Transportation Management)
• Material Flow Systems / Automation Systems (AS/RS, conveyors, AGVs)
• Ensure smooth handling of interfaces, IDocs, qRFC, BAPIs, and CIF.

Practical experience with:
