SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), warehouse management processes, and end-to-end implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration, version upgrades, system integration, and advanced warehouse management solutions.

Total Experience : 5-10 years

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and SAP EWM solutions.

- Participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, upgrade, testing, and deployment projects.

- Lead requirement gathering, business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design activities.

- Configure SAP EWM functionalities and support custom development teams.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including As-Is/To-Be analysis, configuration, unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.

- Prepare functional specification documents for technical development teams.

- Support warehouse management processes across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with SAP ECC and cross-functional modules such as SAP MM, PP, QM, and SD.

- Troubleshoot integration issues, queue management, and system performance challenges.

- Work with SAP standard reports, Fiori applications, analytics, and warehouse KPIs to improve operational visibility.

- Support integration with non-SAP applications, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Mandatory Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an SAP EWM Functional Consultant.

- Experience in SAP EWM version upgrade projects.

- Participation in at least 3 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.

- Strong functional knowledge of inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.

- Good understanding of decentralized and embedded SAP EWM solutions.

- Experience integrating SAP ECC with decentralized EWM, including queue management and troubleshooting.

- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration, including warehouse structure, POSC, LOSC, WOCR, wave management, RF framework, and PPF.

- Experience with warehouse devices and RFUI.

- Knowledge of SAP EWM standard reports, Fiori applications, reporting, analytics, and warehouse KPIs.

- Experience integrating SAP EWM with non-SAP applications such as MES and TMS.

- Ability to prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical development teams.
