SAP FI analyst
Key Roles
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions.
- Serve as the trusted technical advisor to the Finance organization, partnering closely with Finance leaders and business stakeholders to evaluate business requirements, system modifications, enhancements, and third-party add-on solutions. Recommend scalable SAP solutions and best practices that align with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's long-term Finance technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with Finance and business process owners to translate functional requirements into effective SAP solutions and system improvements.
- Manage SAP integrations with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Banking, Tax, and third-party financial applications to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
- Provide technical leadership for SAP FICO projects, system enhancements, upgrades, production support, and global deployments.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives that improve financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
- Support the development and maintenance of SAP interfaces, APIs, middleware integrations, IDocs, and financial data flows to ensure reliable system performance and data integrity.
- Lead solution design reviews, testing, deployment planning, and issue resolution while ensuring high-quality solution delivery.
- Coordinate internal development teams, external consultants, and implementation partners to successfully deliver SAP initiatives on time and within budget.
- Ensure SAP Finance solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, regulatory standards, and corporate governance policies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
- Partner with Product Owners, Enterprise Applications, and Finance leadership to prioritize system enhancements and support strategic business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, support standards, configuration documentation, and knowledge-sharing material.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years in ERP systems implementation and integration, with at least 2 years in SAP S4/HANA environments.
- Deep technical expertise in SAP S4/HANA (FI/CO) and integration tools. High level understanding of SAP SD, MM and other modules.
- Experience with financial reporting platforms (e.g., BW/4HANA, SAC, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of finance processes in manufacturing/logistics.
- Proficiency in system architecture, API design, and cloud-based deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working proficiency in English and native Hungarian language skill
