We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Functional Consultant to support a long-term enterprise SAP Finance programme. The role combines project delivery with operational finance support, making it ideal for consultants who have experience across business analysis, SAP Finance configuration, testing, and application support.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Gather and analyse business requirements with key stakeholders.

• Participate in workshops and project meetings.

• Prepare and review business and functional documentation.

• Produce management summaries, status reports, and presentations.

• Perform process assessments and gap analyses.

• Validate business requirements and SAP Finance solution designs.

• Prepare and execute test cases.

• Record, track, and support resolution of defects.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test sign-off activities.

• Review SAP authorization concepts and support authorization testing.

• Assist with Segregation of Duties (SoD) validation.

Operational Finance Support

• Investigate and coordinate resolution of SAP Finance incidents.

• Perform functional analysis for change requests.

• Configure SAP FI through system customizing.

• Prepare functional specifications for developments.

• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

• Maintain and analyse SAP authorization roles.

• Provide end-user support and assist during audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of SAP FI consulting experience

• Strong SAP Financial Accounting (FI) knowledge

• SAP configuration (Customizing)

• Business analysis and requirements gathering

• Functional documentation

• Incident and problem management

• Change request management

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Test case preparation and execution

• Defect management

• User support

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• SAP S/4HANA Finance

• SAP FICO knowledge

• SAP GRC or SAP Security

• Segregation of Duties (SoD)

• SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM

• Experience working in global or enterprise SAP environments
