SAP FICO Finance Specialist | S/4HANA | Transformation Project

An established organization is embarking on a major enterprise-wide digital and systems transformation and is looking for an experienced SAP Finance Specialist to strengthen its Finance transformation team.

This position will act as a key bridge between Finance, business stakeholders, project teams and system implementation partners, ensuring Finance requirements are accurately translated into effective system solutions.

The successful candidate should bring a strong combination of Finance/Accounting knowledge and hands-on SAP FICO implementation experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner closely with Finance stakeholders, project teams and external implementation partners throughout the system transformation journey.
• Review existing Finance processes and workflows, identify gaps and recommend opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Support the design, configuration and implementation of SAP Finance / FICO solutions.
• Translate Finance business requirements into functional system requirements and proposed solutions.
• Participate in system integration, testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.
• Support migration of Finance master and transactional data from existing systems into the new system environment.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure Finance processes are properly integrated with other business and operational systems.
• Develop user guides, process documentation and training materials.
• Conduct training and provide guidance to Finance end-users.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide support during implementation and post-go-live.
• Support continuous improvement of Finance processes following system implementation.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant SAP implementation experience, with strong exposure to Finance modules.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FICO – Financial Accounting and Controlling.
• Good understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, financial controls and reporting.
• Experience participating in end-to-end SAP implementation, system migration or enterprise transformation projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, functional design, testing and data migration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to communicate effectively with both Finance users and technical/system implementation teams.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional project teams.

Advantageous Experience

• SAP professional certification.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to MES and/or SuccessFactors implementation or system integration.
• Experience integrating SAP Finance with other enterprise or operational systems.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, MRO or repair/overhaul operations.
