About the Role

SAPExperts Inc. is building a talent pool of experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) Consultants for potential project-based and long-term consulting opportunities. We welcome SAP professionals with strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FICO who are interested in being considered for future client engagements.

Engagement arrangements may be remote, hybrid, or onsite, depending on project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support SAP FICO functionalities based on business requirements.

• Analyze business processes related to financial accounting, management accounting, and financial reporting.

• Gather and assess business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP FICO solutions.

• Support SAP FICO implementation, enhancement, migration, and system upgrade projects, as applicable.

• Perform functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues, incidents, and system defects.

• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, and other project deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes with other SAP modules.

• Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and post-Go-Live support when required by the project.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO).

• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, application support, or system enhancement.

• Good understanding of financial accounting processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting.

• Familiarity with management accounting processes, such as Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.

• Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing, issue resolution, and documentation.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, business users, and cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to work under project-based or contractual arrangements, depending on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation or S/4HANA migration projects.

• Knowledge of integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules.

• Experience in client-facing consulting engagements.

• Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage but are not mandatory.
