SAP FICO Specialist (in-house)

Role Overview
As an in-house SAP FICO Specialist, you will be responsible as the FICO SME in a CoE structure; driving implementations, governance, continuous improvement and business process optimization at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, harmonize business processes, and map SAP roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Configure complex SAP FI and CO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, CO-PA) in SAP S/4HANA
• Define architecture and integration touchpoints between FICO and modules like MM, SD, PP, PS, etc.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from blueprinting, testing (UAT/Integration), and data migration to cutover planning and hypercare support.
• Governance of technical/functional solutions in each phase of project, as well as live sites system support
• Evaluate business requirements and deliver solutions to the business; ensuring adherence to company compliance/ audit/ statutory/ legal requirements
• Work closely with and manage external vendors on development, implementation and testing phases

Requirements and Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience specializing in SAP FICO, with exposure in multiple full-cycle end-to-end implementations for ECC/ S/4 HANA etc.)
• Domain expertise in Accounting/ Finance
• SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting or Management Accounting certifications are highly advantageous
• Exceptional client-facing, leadership, and communication skills to manage senior stakeholders and global rollouts across the ASEAN or APAC region.
• Ability to travel regionally
