SAP Finance Consultant Manager
About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consulting Manager / Senior Manager to lead SAP Finance and Controlling engagements and support the growth of our SAP consulting business in Singapore. You will be responsible for leading SAP FICO solutions across the full project lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders and senior clients, and contributing to presales, solution development, and go-to-market activities.
Key responsibilities
Lead SAP FICO functional engagements and provide subject-matter expertise across FI and CO
Lead or participate in multiple end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Review business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions
Lead workshops and discussions with business users, process owners, and senior stakeholders
Provide guidance on SAP Finance and Controlling processes, solution design, and implementation approaches
Oversee functional deliverables and ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and client expectations
Support project teams in resolving complex functional and integration issues
Mentor and provide direction to SAP FICO consultants and project team members
Act as a trusted SAP FICO advisor to clients and senior business stakeholders
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts
Present SAP solutions, recommendations, project updates, and transformation roadmaps to stakeholders
Facilitate business and solution workshops with clients
Understand client business challenges and identify opportunities where SAP solutions can provide value
Support or lead SAP FICO presales activities, including solution presentations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, demonstrations, and effort estimation
Participate in client meetings and discovery sessions to understand business requirements and potential opportunities
Develop solution approaches, proposals, presentations, and high-level implementation strategies
Collaborate with sales and business-development teams to identify and develop new SAP opportunities
Contribute to the company's go-to-market strategy for SAP Finance and Controlling services
Build relationships with prospective clients and support account growth activities
Identify opportunities for additional SAP services within existing client accounts
Contribute to the development and growth of the SAP FICO consulting practice
Support capability development, recruitment, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Establish reusable SAP FICO methodologies, assets, templates, and best practices
Keep up to date with SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities and emerging SAP Finance trends
Provide leadership and guidance to consultants working across multiple engagements
About you
Strong experience in SAP FICO / SAP Finance & Controlling
Proven experience delivering multiple full-cycle SAP FI/CO implementations
Strong understanding of SAP Finance business processes and integration with other SAP modules
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior client representatives
Strong consulting and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to lead teams and manage client expectations
Strong commercial and business / go-to-market mindset
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred)
Previous SAP FICO presales / solutioning experience (preferred)
Experience preparing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, or SAP demonstrations (preferred)
Experience in business development or account expansion (preferred)
Experience working for a global IT consulting, system integration, or SAP consulting organization (preferred)
Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical / life sciences environments (preferred)
Exposure to SAP transformation or migration programs (preferred)
