SAP Finance Tester

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Tester with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and integration testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes, hands-on testing experience in SAP environments, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing for SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including integrations with various internal and external systems.
  
• Apply strong knowledge of financial business processes such as Financial Accounting (FI), Management Accounting (CO), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury Management.
  
• Execute end-to-end testing for implementations of SAP S/4HANA Finance (Cloud), with at least one full-cycle project experience.
  
• Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and expected results for diverse integration scenarios.
  
• Document interface mapping, data flow, and transformation logic using tools such as SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, or APIs.
  
• Validate interface behavior, data mapping, and transformation accuracy using SAP CPI, API testing tools (e.g., Postman), and other verification methods.
  
• Conduct integration testing involving real-time and batch interfaces across systems such as SAP Payroll, SAP EC, SAP Concur, and non-SAP applications.
  
• Perform testing for APIs, middleware (CPI), file-based transfers (SFTP, CSV, XML) and ensure data quality, correctness, and error management.
  
• Log and track defects using SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), including retesting and ensuring timely closure.
  
• Maintain clear traceability between requirements, test scenarios, defects, and results.
  
• Collaborate with developers, integration consultants, and functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide input on improvements.
  
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure clarity in reporting testing progress and results.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes.
  
• Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance (Cloud) implementation testing experience.
  
• Experience performing end-to-end integration testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  
• Hands-on expertise with SAP CPI, API testing tools (e.g., Postman), and file-based data validation (CSV, XML, SFTP).
  
• Experience documenting interface mappings and transformation logic.
  
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for defect management.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
