Leads the SAP Master Data Governance work-stream on an S/4HANA transformation program for a banking client, acting as the link between business stakeholders, data owners, and the offshore delivery team. Day to day involves MDG strategy, solution design, data quality, testing, deployment, and adoption, on client site at least 4 days a week.
The SAP MDG Lead will be responsible for leading the SAP Master Data Governance work-stream on an S/4HANA
transformation program. The role will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, data owners,
governance teams, and the offshore delivery team to define, implement, and operationalize master data
governance processes across the client landscape.
The successful candidate will provide leadership across master data governance, data quality, business process
design, change management, testing, deployment, and post-go-live adoption. The role requires deep SAP MDG
expertise combined with strong stakeholder engagement and banking industry experience.
Responsibilities:
• SAP MDG Strategy & Governance: Define and lead the master data governance framework, policies,
controls, and stewardship model across the project.
• Solution Design & Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions, workflows,
business rules, and integrations.
• Business Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the program
team for all MDG-related activities. Expectation is to be on client site minimum 4 days/week.
• Data Quality: Drive data quality improvement, cleansing, validation, and governance initiatives
across master data domains.
• Testing, Deployment & Adoption: Oversee testing, business readiness, deployment, training, and
successful adoption of SAP MDG capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information
Systems, Computer Science, Business,
Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or
related discipline.
- SAP MDG Certification.
- Minimum 10 years SAP experience.
- Minimum 5 years SAP MDG
experience.
Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA Certification.
- Proven experience leading SAP MDG
or Master Data Governance
initiatives.
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA
transformation programs.
- Experience engaging business and
executive stakeholders.
