SAP Information Security SME
Summary
Acts as the security subject-matter expert on Walmart's SAP projects: plans and implements SAP security policies, controls and role definitions, resolves security design and integration issues, and supports testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare. Core stack is SAP security (roles/T-codes) with SAP HANA, requiring 8+ years of SAP security experience and bilingual Spanish/English.
The Security SME role acts as a security and risk expert and provides guidance concerning SAP security assessments and role definitions. The role will require planning, coordinating and implementing security policies, procedures and controls to protect roles consistency, incident response, threat assessment and remediation services.
Essential functions
- Manage technical related escalations and reports into project leadership.
- SAP landscape planning and support on roles and T-codes discussions from a security perspective.
- Review and resolve technical design and integration issues related to security.
- Test business and end users’ roles to ensure operational continuity post go-live
- Participate in solution design workshops and provide guidance from the security and controls perspective.
- Manage and drive technical related issues, risks and mitigation plans.
- Oversee technical mock cutovers, integration testing, performance testing, dress rehearsal, final cutover, go-live and hyper care support activities regarding security.
- Advise and guide the technical and business teams in project activities, applying lessons learned based on other markets experience.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree in Systems Engineering, Business Administration or other related.
- At least 8 years of experience managing or leading SAP Projects from a Security perspective.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a must. B2+ level or higher.
