SAP IS-U ABAP Developer - Energy/Utilities Domain

Position: SAP IS-U ABAP Developer (6-Month Contract)

Total Experience: 8 - 10 years

Location: Remote

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Possess knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modelling using HANA Studio, ADT, Code Performance Rules, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core Data Services, Database Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.

- Provide support including troubleshooting issues, resolving user problems, and performing system enhancements.

- Analyse and understand existing processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Participate in End user training, System testing and Quality assurance activities.

- Mentor junior team members.

Candidate Requirements:

- Strong SAP ISU ABAP Developer Profile with Energy/Utilities domain and S/4HANA depth.

- Must have 8+ years total as an SAP ABAP consultant, including 3+ years in the Energy/Utilities (SAP IS-U) domain.

- Must have good understanding of the Meter to Cash flow.

- Must have RICEF development experience.

- Must have at least 2 full lifecycle implementations, and be flexible across Implementation and AMS projects.

- Must have hands-on experience with BTP/RAP.

- Must have strong technical skills in ABAP, CDS Views, OData, BADI, BAPI, RFC and other SAP development tools.

- Must have ABAP on HANA depth and hands-on SAP ABAP RICEFW, CDS and AMDP.

- Must have SAP Fiori application experience, including custom extension development and configuration.

- Must be willing to cross-train, upskill, collaborate and mentor junior team members.

- This is a 6-month contract role. Candidate must be comfortable with the contract engagement and able to join immediately (onboarding within a week).

- The candidate will be on the recruitment firm's payroll.
