Sap Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the SAP team in India, building an independent SAP Competence Center.
• Manage SAP development, support, projects, resources, and delivery priorities.
• Drive SAP ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, CDS Views, RAP, OData, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Design and maintain SAP applications, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom solutions.
• Support S/4HANA implementations, migrations, integrations, and production issues.
• Work with SAP BTP, APIs, automation, and modern SAP technologies.
• Establish coding standards, quality practices, documentation, and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with SAP teams and stakeholders in Germany, ensuring knowledge transfer and team growth.
• Mentor developers and support recruitment and onboarding.|

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP development and consulting experience, with strong hands-on SAP ABAP expertise.
• Strong knowledge of modern ABAP, ABAP Objects, CDS Views, RAP, OData, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP integrations, APIs, RFC, IDoc, and REST/SOAP services.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, AI, or automation is an advantage.
• Experience with Eclipse/ADT, Git, Jira, or Confluence is preferred.
• Proven team leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work with international teams, especially in Germany.
