SAP Master Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP MDG, master data management, and data migration. The ideal candidate will support business transformation projects by designing, configuring, and implementing master data governance solutions, managing data migration activities, and ensuring data quality throughout the migration lifecycle.

The role requires technical knowledge of SAP MDG, SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), SAP data migration tools, and SAP S/4HANA migration processes. Experience with Syniti Advanced Data Migration (ADM) is also valuable.

Key Responsibilities
Business Transformation and Consulting

• Support business transformation projects, including assessments, diagnostic activities, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.

• Develop business strategies, target operating models, process designs, and implementation plans.

• Translate business requirements into practical SAP master data management and governance solutions.

• Coordinate process and organizational changes, including change management activities.

• Identify project issues, define problem-solving approaches, and develop work plans to meet project deadlines.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• Support client relationship management, proposals, practice development, and knowledge-sharing activities.

• Contribute to project documentation, case studies, solution offerings, and best-practice development.

SAP Master Data Governance

• Configure and support SAP MDG solutions based on business requirements.

• Work with SAP MDG data models, workflows, Business Rules Framework (BRF), and Floor Plan Manager (FPM).

• Apply SAP ABAP skills to support MDG enhancements and technical requirements.

• Understand Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI), MDG architecture, deployment approaches, and flex versus reuse modes.

• Develop or support RICEFW objects and other SAP MDG configurations.

Data Migration and SAP BODS

• Build data extraction, transformation, mapping, validation, and loading jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).

• Apply SQL knowledge to data transformation, validation, joins, lookups, and query mapping.

• Build and maintain SAP data load tools using LSMW, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC), or ABAP programs.

• Understand SAP tables and data structures associated with different master data objects.

• Execute mock conversions, validate migration results, resolve data issues, and support production data loads.

• Configure transformation rules and reports using Syniti Advanced Data Migration (ADM), where applicable.

• Support data quality, reconciliation, and migration validation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG and SAP Data Migration.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, Science, or a related discipline.

• Experience in master data management, governance, and migration projects.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management and executive communication.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver within project timelines.

• Consulting experience or exposure to internal project work is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel when required.

• Ability to work a shifting schedule and follow the hybrid work arrangement.

Work Arrangement

• Work location: Taguig City, Philippines.

• Work setup: Hybrid.

• Shift: Shifting, depending on client and project requirements.
