SAP MDG Technical Consultant

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Techno-Functional Lead / Senior Consultant with 7 - 11 years of core hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance solutions.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end MDG implementation and support initiatives, focusing on data modeling, process modeling, custom workflows, and integration across core enterprise domains.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical architecture skills (BRF+, WebDynpro, FPM, ABAP OO) with functional domain expertise in SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.

Key Responsibilities :

MDG Solution Architecture & Implementation :

- Lead the technical and functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions across multiple domains.

Workflow & Business Rules Configuration :

- Design and build custom governance workflows using SAP Business Workflow and configure business rules using BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus).

UI & Data Modeling :

- Develop and customize user interfaces using WebDynpro ABAP and Floorplan Manager (FPM); define and extend MDG Data Models (Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling).

System Integration :

- Design and manage integration scenarios between SAP MDG and SAP/non-SAP target systems using ALE, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.

Techno-Functional Analysis :

- Translate complex functional requirements across core modules (SAP MM, SD, FICO) into robust MDG technical designs.

Project Execution & Governance :

- Successfully drive 2 - 3 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation or support cycles, ensuring adherence to master data standards, data quality, and compliance guidelines.

Stakeholder Management & Support :

- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and deliver post-go-live support.

Technical & Professional Qualifications :

Required Skills & Experience :

Core MDG Expertise :

- 7 - 11 years of strong technical and functional experience in SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG).

Domain Mastery :

- Deep hands-on expertise in at least two of the following SAP MDG domains :

1. Material (MDG-M)

2. Customer / Vendor / Business Partner (MDG-C / MDG-V / MDG-BP)

3. Financials (MDG-F)

Technical Stack :

- BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus)

- SAP Business Workflow

- WebDynpro ABAP and Floorplan Manager (FPM)

- ABAP OO (Object-Oriented ABAP) and ABAP Data Dictionary (DDIC)

- Data Modeling, Process Modeling, and UI Modeling

Integration Technologies :

- Strong working knowledge of ALE / IDoc interfaces, Web Services, and Data Replication Framework (DRF).

Techno-Functional Modules :

- Solid techno-functional understanding of core SAP modules : SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).

Project Track Record :

- Minimum of 2 - 3 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation or support projects completed.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA.

- Knowledge of SAP Data Services (BODS) or SAP Information Steward for data quality and migration.

- Exposure to Fiori UI extensions for SAP MDG
