Job Summary (List Format): SAP MM / Procurement Functional Consultant
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating aviation procurement objectives into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Lead the digital transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA for global procurement and materials management operations.
- Design and implement transition strategies, including temporary operational workarounds during phased SAP rollouts.
- Evaluate legacy system customizations and define a roadmap for adopting standard S/4HANA functionalities.
- Configure and maintain complex SAP MM modules (e.g., org structures, material master, vendor master, source lists).
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, blueprinting sessions, and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Oversee end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory management (including rotable/serialized assets), and integration with related SAP modules (WM/EWM, PM, PP, FI/CO).
- Collaborate on automation initiatives, integrating SAP with warehouse robotics, automated systems, and mobile technology.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (CAA, EASA, FAA, ITAR, AS9100), focusing on traceability, batch management, and data genealogy.
- Promote Clean Core architecture by enforcing standard SAP features, minimizing customizations, and supporting future scalability (WM to EWM).
- Advise on and support modern sourcing and analytics technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba, Live MRP, real-time inventory analytics).
- Work closely with project architects, data migration teams, and external partners to ensure data alignment and cutover planning.
- Develop and maintain business blueprint documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
- Bring 10+ years' experience in SAP MM/Procurement within global, complex enterprises, preferably Aerospace/MRO sectors.
- Exhibit expert-level knowledge of SAP configuration, aerospace MRO processes, and Agile/SAP Activate methodologies.
- Preferred: SAP S/4HANA certification, experience with SAP Ariba/EWM integration, and knowledge of export control compliance within SAP.
