Industry Experience: Mandatory: At least one full end to end Pharma implementation.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant with deep expertise in MRP, production planning, quality management, and regulated pharma processes. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience delivering full lifecycle S/4 implementations and working within GxP compliant environments.
This role supports a global S/4HANA MRP transformation and requires strong functional leadership, documentation skills, and collaboration with onsite architects and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA MRP, PP, and QM functional design, configuration, and testing
  • Drive full end to end implementation cycles: requirements, blueprinting, build, UAT, cutover, and go live
  • Configure core PP processes: BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, planning strategies, MRP, capacity planning
  • Configure QM processes: inspection plans, quality notifications, batch management, in process and final inspection
  • Implement DEA controlled material processes, including controlled substance handling, compliance workflows, and audit readiness
  • Configure Quota Management for restricted materials, procurement controls, and regulatory reporting
  • Implement Subcontracting processes including procurement, inventory visibility, batch tracking, and quality integration
  • Ensure alignment with pharma regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, EMA)
  • Support integration with MM, SD, PM, and EWM
  • Prepare functional specs, test scripts, validation documentation (CSV, IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Collaborate with onsite leads in a global delivery model
  • Provide Hypercare and continuous improvement post go live
  

Mandatory Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP PP/QM experience
  • At least one full end to end SAP implementation in the Pharma industry
  • Strong hands on experience with S/4HANA MRP
  • DEA controlled substance process experience
  • Quota Management configuration experience
  • Subcontracting process experience
  • Deep understanding of regulated environments (GxP, validation, audit readiness)
  • Expertise in PP master data, MRP, production execution, batch management, and quality processes
  • Experience integrating PP/QM with MM, SD, PM, and EWM
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with global teams
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Advanced Planning (PPDS)
  • Knowledge of EWM or WM
  • Exposure to serialization or Track & Trace
  • Experience with MES integration
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
