SAP Procurement and Inventory Consultant
Role purpose
The role is responsible for the functional support of S/4HANA business applications and for delivering functional solutions as part of ongoing projects. The main purpose of the role is to support international business locations operating on SAP S/4HANA as their ERP platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP S/4HANA application support for international locations
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests, ensuring timely and high-quality solutions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
- Support SAP implementation projects, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities
- Ensure stable business operations during critical activities and proactively identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with business teams, architects, developers, and external partners to deliver effective solutions
- Support and guide junior consultants by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP processes and support activities
- Occasionally travel internationally based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need
- 5–7 years of experience in SAP application management, support, or project environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of SAP business processes and related modules
- Experience with SAP configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with SAP implementations and post-go-live support in an international environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong advantage
- Degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes is an advantage
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills
