Sap Ps Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PS functional activities, including requirement gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and implementation.
• Configure and maintain SAP Project Systems functionalities based on business requirements.
• Design and manage project structures using Project Definitions, WBS Elements, and Networks.
• Configure project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost planning, and project execution processes.
• Handle project budgeting, budget availability control (AVC), and budget management.
• Configure project profiles, planning profiles, budgeting profiles, and settlement profiles.
• Work on cost planning, revenue planning, commitment management, and actual cost tracking.
• Configure project settlement to relevant receivers such as assets, cost centers, and profitability segments.
• Handle project execution, confirmations, milestone processing, and progress tracking.
• Work on Results Analysis (RA) and project-related financial reporting.
• Ensure integration of SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and other relevant SAP modules.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for technical developments.
• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional solutions.
• Conduct workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Act as an SME and provide functional guidance to junior consultants and project teams.

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

• 69 years of relevant SAP PS functional consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Project Systems configuration and business processes.
• Expertise in Project Definitions, WBS Elements, and Networks.
• Hands-on experience with project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of project budgeting and budget availability control.
• Experience in cost planning, commitment management, and actual cost tracking.
• Knowledge of project settlement and Results Analysis.
• Experience with project profiles, planning profiles, budgeting profiles, and settlement profiles.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and PM.
• Experience in functional specifications, testing, and production support.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Project Systems.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM).
• Exposure to SAP PS integration with Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
• Experience in customer projects, capital projects, and investment projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to Project Systems.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery practices.
