SAP Quality / Test Engineer (Senior) – SAP Fiori/ SAPUI5
Our client, Deutsche Bahn, is looking for a Senior SAP Quality / Test Engineer to support SAP transformation initiatives within the SAP IMS team. The project focuses on end-to-end quality assurance for SAP S/4HANA solutions, with a strong emphasis on SAP Fiori applications and agile software delivery.
The successful candidate will join an agile development environment and contribute to ensuring the quality of business-critical SAP solutions throughout the testing lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare SAP end-to-end test scenarios for SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications
- Create and maintain test cases in SAP Solution Manager
- Execute manual and, where applicable, automated test cases
- Analyze test results and document defects using Jira and SAP Solution Manager
- Document testing activities in SAP Solution Manager, Jira and Confluence
- Support developers during defect analysis and resolution
- Improve testing processes, methodologies and test automation
- Communicate testing progress, quality metrics and project risks to stakeholders
Mandatory Requirements
- Senior-level experience (5+ years)
- Extensive experience testing SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications
- Minimum 5 years of End-to-End testing experience for web-based applications
- ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Manager certification
- Strong experience with SAP Solution Manager test design and test documentation

- Methodology: Agile (SAFe / Agile Release Train)
- Project Language: German (C2 / native-level required)
- Work Location: Fully remote (0 onsite days)

- Candidates must be employed by a company or subcontractor within the framework agreement.
- Preferred experience includes:
- Test automation (preferably Tricentis Tosca)
- Jira, Confluence and GitLab
- Release and regression testing
- Additional ISTQB certifications (e.g. Agile Tester, Test Automation Engineer, Test Analyst, Test Data Specialist)
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
