SAP Release Manager

• SAP Upgrade Project

Our client is looking for a SAP Release Manager to oversee and assist with current SAP projects on an initial 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension.

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a transformative project – a large-scale S/4HANA upgrade. You'll be working alongside industry experts, contributing your skills and expertise.

Day-to-day:

• The role provides delivery oversight to current in-flight initiatives such as an SAP upgrade and an upgrade of landing zones
• Work with external vendors and internal teams to determine how the Environment and Release Management capabilities will need to change to support a multi-release SAP approach
• Lead any required changes to Environment and Release Management to support the SAP program
• Lead Data Proof of Concept work for releases
• Lead broader data governance, ownership and best practice approach as a blue-print for future releases

Key Requirements:

• Must of held the title of SAP Release Manager
• Minimum of one implementation (preferably S/4HANA) & experience or exposure to BAU support
• Exposed to at least one large digital transformation engagement
• Demonstrated stable track record of project work and/or release management
