Following the successful SAP S/4HANA pilot and go-live in Poland, our client, a global FMCG company, is preparing a rollout covering two regions and several countries.
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Fulfil Lead to lead the design and implementation of distribution, warehouse and logistics processes for a distribution unit handling finished goods.
The role is focused on inbound and outbound deliveries, internal warehouse processes, inventory movements and integration with an external 3PL warehouse responsible for receiving, storing and shipping finished products.
Key responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end Plan-to-Fulfil workstream for the distribution unit.
  • Define and validate future-state inbound, outbound, warehouse and inventory processes with global and local business stakeholders.
  • Lead the design of processes related to inbound deliveries, outbound deliveries, stock transfers, goods receipts, goods issues and internal warehouse movements.
  • Coordinate the SAP solution design across Inventory Management, delivery processing, warehouse integration and logistics execution.
  • Lead the functional integration with an external 3PL warehouse responsible for receiving, storing, picking and shipping finished goods.
  • Define and validate business and system requirements for communication between SAP S/4HANA and the external warehouse.
  • Coordinate the design of interfaces, messages, IDocs and exception-handling processes between SAP and the 3PL solution.
  • Ensure alignment between Sales, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, Finance and Master Data processes.
  • Facilitate functional workshops and support business decision-making.
  • Manage functional specifications, configuration activities and required enhancements.
  • Support the definition of warehouse-related master data and organisational structures.
  • Coordinate integration testing, user acceptance testing and end-to-end business process validation.
  • Support data migration, cutover planning, go-live preparation and hypercare activities.
  • Track workstream risks, dependencies, issues and design decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with the global SAP template and programme governance.
Required experience
  • Strong SAP S/4HANA experience in logistics, distribution and warehouse-related processes.
  • Very good knowledge of inbound and outbound delivery processing.
  • Good knowledge of SAP Inventory Management, stock transfers, goods movements and logistics execution.
  • Experience with SAP integration with external warehouses or 3PL logistics providers.
  • Experience with IDocs, interfaces and message-based communication between SAP and external warehouse systems.
  • Experience leading an SAP functional workstream within an international implementation or rollout programme.
  • Understanding of warehouse organisational structures, storage locations, stock types, handling units and batch-managed materials.
  • Experience with finished-goods distribution processes in an FMCG or similar environment would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Very good English, minimum B2 level; C1 preferred.
