SAP SD Architect

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA to lead end-to-end solution design, architecture, implementation and global rollout initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution, Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, complex pricing, billing, intercompany sales, third-party sales and integration with other SAP modules. The candidate must be capable of translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and leading architecture discussions with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end SAP SD solution architecture and design across complex business processes.
• Drive SAP SD implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement and transformation projects.
• Lead business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution assessment and process design.
• Design and implement end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including order management, delivery, shipping, billing and accounting integration.
• Provide expertise in complex pricing procedures, condition techniques, revenue account determination and billing processes.
• Design and implement intercompany sales, intercompany billing, third-party sales, consignment, cash sales and rush order scenarios.
• Drive integration between SAP SD and other modules, including SAP MM, FI, EWM and other logistics solutions.
• Oversee functional and technical integration involving IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, middleware and RICEF developments.
• Define solution architecture, prepare High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD) and functional design documents.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, S/4HANA architecture principles and Clean Core guidelines.
• Provide architectural guidance for SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives.
• Lead design reviews, architecture governance and solution validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, enterprise architects and global delivery teams.
• Mentor functional consultants and provide technical and functional leadership throughout project delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• 1216+ years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP SD.
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong experience in SAP SD solution architecture and end-to-end solution design.
• Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.
• Expertise in intercompany sales and billing, third-party sales, consignment, cash sales and rush orders.
• Strong knowledge of pricing procedures, condition techniques, billing, output determination and account determination.
• Experience in global implementations, rollouts and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP SD, MM, FI and logistics processes.
• Experience with RICEF developments, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs and middleware integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have

• SAP S/4HANA Sales certification.
• Experience with SAP Clean Core, extensibility and custom code remediation.
• Exposure to SAP BTP and integration architecture.
• Experience with EWM, TM and advanced logistics integration.
• Experience in global template design and architecture governance.
