About the Role
SAPExperts Inc. is building a talent pool of experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultants for potential project-based and long-term consulting opportunities. We welcome SAP professionals with strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP SD who are interested in being considered for future client engagements.
Engagement arrangements may be remote, hybrid, or onsite, depending on project and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and support SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionalities based on business requirements.
Analyze business processes related to sales, order processing, pricing, delivery, shipping, billing, and invoicing.
Gather and assess business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP SD solutions.
Support SAP SD implementation, enhancement, migration, and system upgrade projects, as applicable.
Perform functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD-related issues, incidents, and system defects.
Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, and other project deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP MM and FICO, to ensure seamless integration of business processes.
Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and post-Go-Live support when required by the project.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration, implementation, application support, or system enhancement.
Good understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales orders, pricing, delivery processing, shipping, and billing.
Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing, issue resolution, and documentation.
Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, business users, and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work under project-based or contractual arrangements, depending on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation or S/4HANA migration projects.
Knowledge of integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules.
Experience in client-facing consulting engagements.
Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage but are not mandatory.
