SAP SD/ JIT consultant

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant with hands-on expertise in Just-In-Time (JIT) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing the SD module with a focus on JIT delivery schedules, ensuring seamless integration with logistics and production planning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and support the SAP SD module, particularly in areas related to JIT processes (e.g., delivery schedules, forecast schedules, and call-offs).
- Design and implement JIT processes aligned with customer requirements (e.g., automotive clients).
- Collaborate with MM, PP, and WM teams to ensure integrated business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues, including JIT scheduling and outbound delivery processes.
- Support users with training and documentation for JIT workflows.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to improve supply chain efficiency and JIT delivery accuracy.
- Participate in SAP rollout, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP SD, with specific experience in JIT process configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of Sales Orders, Delivery Processing, Billing, Pricing, and Output Determination.
- Hands-on experience with JIT outbound processes (LO-ARM-JIT) and IDoc/ALE integration.
- Experience with EDI processes, customer delivery schedules, and Kanban systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Automotive industry background.
- Knowledge of SAP PP, MM, or WM for better cross-functional understanding.
- ABAP debugging skills (not mandatory but desirable).
