SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant
Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the SAP Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expertise across solution architecture, design, and implementation.
Drive end-to-end configuration, deployment, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
Engage with clients to conduct discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, POCs, presentations, and obtain design approvals.
Prepare effort estimations, delivery plans, and take ownership of solution delivery and outcomes.
Identify and recommend SAP-standard, scalable, and innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Prepare functional documentation, business process flows, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
Conduct implementation workshops and deliver knowledge-transfer and training sessions for SAP payroll business users.
Plan and lead testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, and provide support throughout UAT.
Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to define and deliver integrations with Finance, HCM, and other relevant SAP modules.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and support the growth of the payroll capability.
Contribute to pre-sales activities, solution proposals, strategic initiatives, and SAP Payroll thought leadership.
Technical Expertise Requirements
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
8–10 years of experience delivering and supporting Australian Payroll solutions and implementations.
In-depth understanding of Australian HCM processes, payroll practices, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proven experience integrating SAP Payroll with S/4HANA HCM, Finance, and related SAP solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and client engagement capabilities.
Experience working successfully within an onshore-offshore delivery and collaboration model.
Essential
Strong understanding of the broader SAP technology landscape with the ability to provide technical direction and guide delivery teams.
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
