SAP WM/EWM Subject Matter Expert

Open 21d reposted 2×

Summary

Own and optimize global SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems for a pharma company, leading rollouts, support, and compliance with GxP standards.

About the Role:

Our client is expanding its global SAP Competence Center in Wroclaw and is looking for a SAP WM/EWM Subject Matter Expert (SME).

You will own the global SAP WM/EWM landscape for an international pharma group. You’ll optimize processes, lead site rollouts, and coordinate our external support partners as we transition toward S/4HANA.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead SAP WM: Design, configure, and optimize warehouse processes (picking/putaway, stock transfers, physical inventory).

  • Manage Support: Act as the 2nd-level owner. You will coordinate with our external 3rd-level support partners to resolve complex issues (no ticket-churning; you manage the vendor).

  • Drive Projects: Lead full-lifecycle rollouts and system enhancements using Jira and SolMan.

  • Support the Business: Build and mentor a global community of SAP Key Users to improve on-site troubleshooting.

  • Ensure all warehouse movements and processes comply with strict GxP and validation (CSV) standards.

What We Look For

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on SAP WM experience, with at least one full lifecycle implementation.

  • Industry: Experience in a regulated GxP environment (Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Devices is highly preferred).

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse structures, RF scanning, and Logistics Execution. SAP EWM or S/4HANA is a big plus.

  • Mindset: Proactive, ownership-driven, and able to talk to both warehouse teams and IT vendors.

  • Language: Fluent English

Why Apply?

  • Real ownership of global processes in a scaling team.

  • Direct exposure to our global S/4HANA and EWM migration.

  • Flexible hybrid setup based in our Wroclaw office.
